Degree Overview
An ideal choice for both new graduates and finance professionals looking to progress their careers, this programme is the opportunity to specialise in different areas of accounting and finance. It helps prepare full-time students for entry-level positions and provides career development opportunities for roles such as accountants, auditors, managers, business consultants and finance analysts. You will examine in depth, the tools and practices of finance and accounting. The course will enable you to apply your knowledge in simulations, case studies, exams, essays and small research projects, developing your employability and research skills. You will have access to our Trading Floor, which provides campus and remote access to leading financial databases, statistical and other software. On this course, you will challenge accounting and finance theories and practices by studying contemporary issues, including sustainability investing and reporting.

Admissions Requirements
Applicants will normally hold an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum pass of 2:2, or equivalent overseas qualification, or an equivalent professional qualification.
English language requirements
If English is not your first language an IELTS score of 6.0 overall with 5.5 in each band (or equivalent) when you start the course is essential.
English language tuition, delivered by our British Council-accredited Centre for English Language Learning, is available both before and throughout the course if you need it.
