General Entry Requirements

• Foundation and undergraduate applicants normally need a relevant Level 3 qualification, suitable UCAS tariff points or an accepted equivalent qualification.
• Direct Year 2, Year 3 and Top-Up applicants normally need a relevant prior higher education qualification.
• Postgraduate applicants normally need a suitable bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Doctoral applicants require suitable postgraduate qualifications and relevant professional experience.

Academic Qualification Route

Applicants using previous qualifications will normally need to provide their certificates and transcripts. The relevance, level and date of the qualification may be considered during the eligibility assessment.

Mature Student / Work Experience Route

Applicants aged 21 or over who do not hold the standard academic qualifications may be considered through relevant work experience, depending on the selected course.

Evidence may include an updated CV, employer reference, recent payslips, employment contract, P45 or P60. Self-employed applicants may be asked for invoices with matching bank statements, tax returns or an accountant’s letter.
