Entry Requirements

Applicants should normally have one of the following:

  • A recognised Level 3 qualification
  • At least one relevant A Level
  • BTEC, GNVQ or equivalent qualification
  • Five GCSEs
  • An equivalent overseas qualification

Mature Student Work-Experience Route

Mature students without standard academic qualifications may also apply.

Applicants should normally have:

  • At least two years of relevant work experience
  • Experience at supervisory level
  • A complete CV showing work history from age 18
  • Evidence of employment
  • A personal statement explaining their experience and reasons for studying the course
  • The required level of English

Employment evidence can include:

  • Employer reference letter
  • Employment contract
  • P45 or P60
  • Three recent payslips

English Requirement

Applicants should normally have:

IELTS 5.5 or CEFR B2, including 5.5 in Reading and Writing.

Separate English evidence may not be required if the applicant has completed at least two years of education in English.

  • Immigration-status document, except for British nationals
  • Proof of National Insurance number
  • Academic certificates and transcripts
  • Employment evidence for mature applicants
  • Two-page CV with full work history from age 18
  • Personal statement tailored to the Ming-Ai HND in Business
  • Proof of address, such as a bank statement, utility bill, council-tax bill or driving licence

Interview

Shortlisted applicants will attend an interview with Ming-Ai to discuss their experience, motivation and future career plans.
