Degree Overview 

The programme aims to fuse the knowledge, skills, and competencies from participants’ undergraduate studies with a fresh expertise in business management. This integration equips learners with a solid grasp of core business functions and disciplines while cultivating a critical understanding of the bedrock principles and practice of effective business management.

Programme Learning Outcomes

Having successfully completed this programme, graduates will be able to:

  1. Appraise current strategy and operations theories, having examined relevant and current research and literature.
  2. Assess current trends in business management and be capable of evaluating the impact of these trends on the business environment.
  3. Select from complex and advanced management, marketing, accounting and business innovation skills and develop new skills to a high level, including novel and emerging techniques.
  4. Act in a wide variety of professional levels and demonstrate originality in solving complex problems in a business context. Manage and question the effectiveness of teams and individuals, take responsibility for defining and achieving both personal and team goals.

Admissions Requirements

Entry Requirements:
Applicants must have a cognate background. The minimum entry requirements are a Level 8
Honours Degree in Business or equivalent, minimum second-class honours (2.2). Applicants must have a minimum of
30 ECTS in marketing or marketing-related modules to do the MSc in Marketing.
IBAT College Dublin uses a number of comparison systems, such as the NARIC Qualifications Recognition system, to
compare and establish equivalency of international academic awards.

Should your visa application be refused a refund (Less a €300 administration fee) will be returned to you. Please note that we reserve the right not to refund fees where false, fraudulent or fake documents have been submitted as part of a visa application. Should your visa application be successful you are required to send confirmation to us directly with a copy of the stamp on your passport. Please allow sufficient time to process the visa application as this can take anything from 4-16 weeks to process. You will also need to advise us when you hope to travel before the start of the course so that we can provide additional details to you such as; accommodation, timetables, registration and induction schedule and possible part-time job opportunities available (if required).
  • Proof of Finance Requirement: International Students that require a student visa to study in Ireland must provide evidence to the Irish Visa Issuing Authority that they or their sponsor have sufficient funds (€10,000 per year) to cover their costs of living in Ireland whilst studying. This is in addition to course fees. There are 2 ways to do this: Bank Statements - detailed statement of your and/or your sponsors' bank account(s) covering a six-month period immediately prior to your visa application. Evidence of savings or deposits held by you or your sponsor for a six-month period can also be submitted as evidence of finances. If sponsored, additional documentation is required.   • Medical Insurance Requirement: All Visa requiring international students are required to have private medical insurance, either personally or through a group scheme at time of registration. To support you meeting this requirement IBAT College’s can provide an approved insurance policy, which the College purchases for you upon receipt of full payment.
  • Learner Protection Policy (English Language programmes) IBAT College Dublin is a member of Marketing English in lreland (MEl), www.mei.ie. Marketing English in lreland (MEl) member schools espouse Learner Protection, thereby being able to guarantee to students that they will be able to complete all language courses for which they are enrolled. This policy is set out as a condition of membership within the MEI Bye-Laws Section 2.3 (E) "ln the interests of Learner Protection MEI members must agree that, in the event of an MEI school going unexpectedly out of business, they will accept students whose course of tuition in the closed school has not yet expired. The allocation of such students to member schools will be managed by the MEI office."
  • Protection for Enrolled Learners Learner Protection is provided by Arachas Learner Protection Programme and underwritten by Aviva Insurance Ltd. The current fee is 3.5% of the tuition fee. Protection of Enrolled Learners in accordance with section 65(4)(b) of the Qualifications and Quality Assurance (Education and Training) Act 2012 (hereafter the 2012 Act), are covered under this agreement for the duration of the agreement.
